Football Supporters Europe (FSE) is delighted to confirm that the 2023 European Football Fans Congress (EFFC23) will take place in Manchester between Thursday, 22nd June and Sunday, 25th June.
This follows the announcement of the Football Supporters’ Association as co-hosts in January.
The schedule will see the event beginning on Thursday 22nd with an opening night event and finishing on Sunday afternoon. An even broader range of topics than ever before will be covered including:
- UEFA Club Competitions
- Growing the women’s game
- Fan ownership
- EURO 2024
- Celebrating diversity
- Away fans’ rights
- Multi-club ownership
- And much more to be announced soon
EFFC23 will see FSE’s Biennial General Meeting (BGM) take place once more on Saturday, 24th, which provides members with an opportunity to vote on and influence FSE’s aims, objectives, and policies, as well as to approve changes to the Constitution and elect members to the organisation’s Board. The FSA’s own Annual General Meeting (AGM) will also take place in alongside the FSE activities ensuring a strong attendance from across Europe and the UK.
The EFFC has been an important forum for FSE members since 2008. Its purpose is to identify and address fans’ most pressing concerns through a series of workshops, panel sessions, discussions amongst the membership, and social activities, with representatives from European governing bodies and political institutions also in attendance.
Registration for the event will be opening in due course. In the meantime, if you have a suggestion for a topic to be discussed during #EFFC23, please feel free to share your thoughts by contacting us at: info[at]fanseurope.org.
